Buildings Insurance for Landlords
Landlord's buildings insurance will protect the structure of
your property against all major perils. Normally this includes
fire, flood, earthquake, explosion, and storm, escape of water,
impact, theft, malicious damage and loss of rent. As importantly
landlords buildings insurance can cover your public liability
risk should a third party be injured on your property.
Contents Insurance for Landlords
Landlord's contents insurance covers the possessions of the
landlord whilst in a property which is let to a tenant.
Kitchens, bathrooms and radiators are generally covered under a
buildings policy. Occasionally with some landlords insurance
block policies these can be excluded. Fitted carpets & laminate
flooring are covered under the buildings section of our
Zurich landlord's insurance
policy, if the contents cover you require is limited to
these items, you may wish to get a landlords buildings quote
from Zurich. If you require cover for furnishings and
possessions in the property then a landlord's contents policy is
required.

Rent Guarantee Insurance
Rent guarantee cover can be included in legal expenses insurance
and is invaluable for some landlords. It can guarantee you
receive the rent you are expecting from your property regardless
of your tenants personal circumstances, ability or willingness
to pay the rent. The monthly rent is covered up to £2500 per
month and can be paid for up to 6 months.
Landlords Public Liability Insurance
As a landlord you are responsible for the safety of the property
that your tenants are living in. Should a tenant harm themselves
due to something dangerous in the property they can make a claim
against you for damages. Landlord's public liability insurance

as all legal costs. It would also cover you for any damages that
a member of the public may be awarded as a result of injury or
damage to them, or their property caused by your property.
Commercial Property Insurance

Insurance for Tenants
As a tenant your landlord is not responsible for insuring your
possessions while in their property. You must insure them under
a tenant's contents insurance policy which can be tailored to
your individual needs. Additional cover is available such as
accidental damage cover and cover for your possessions while
away from the home, this may also be extended to worldwide
cover.
Block Insurance for Landlords
A Block policy could provide comprehensive cover with the
benefit of a discounted premium for 'bulk buying'. Properties
covered can be blocks of flats or an existing portfolio of other
property. We can provide the same high levels of cover as for
individual properties, and give the landlord less administration
worries with an easy to organize block insurance policy.
Property Owners Insurance
As a property owner you can insure your property against all
major perils, fire, flood, earthquake, explosion, and storm,
escape of water, impact, theft and malicious damage. Additional
cover such as accidental damage can also be included. Whether
your property is let to a residential tenant, a commercial
tenant, or you occupy the property yourself, we can provide a
quote for the most appropriate policy to meet your needs.
Insurance for Let Holiday Homes
It is imperative to get the correct policy if you let your
property to holidaymakers. The property may experience periods
when unoccupied between tenants and a standard let property
insurance would be inadequate. You can also cover your contents
against loss or damage and insure for any public liability risk
should a third party or tenant be injured on your property.
